| So many things to be excited and thankful for!
Last night was Ridgeville's winter homecoming, and all three basketball teams were triumphant over Troy Christian. Congratulations! My brother played an awesome game! He had a couple sweet blocks. The kind that, regardless of who you are sitting next to, requires you to ask the person next to you "Did you see THAT?!?! Yea, that's my little brother!" Way to go Eric!!! Love ya Bub!
I don't know if it's the abnormal weather we are having or something else, but lately the artist side of me has been screaming to come out. Don't worry, I have no intention of posting my poetry on here. Not just yet anyway. It's just that life's everyday things have become more and more beautiful. How silly does that sound? Goodness, I guess I'm hopeless. At the same time I am filled to the brim with it! | | |
| So today is the infamous New Years Eve day. The night of which I get to spend, for the second year in a row, at work! Whoo Hoo for me!!! It's okay though. I have made some good friends there and won't mind spending it with them.
Last night i worked of course, but because of the anticipation of a lot of business tonight I had to fold two-hundred and fifty linens. If you have ever worked in the restaurant industry you can appreciate how many linens that is. (If you don't it's a lot!!!!) But now that I have said it I will not complain about it again.
I pray that everyone has a wonderful start to 2006 and each of us are made more aware of God's hand on our lifes. Happy New Year!!! | | |
| So Tuesday was so much fun! I got to hang out with two girls from work. We had Indian food and Starbucks! Oh my goodness it was amazing!
Currently, I am watching the blizzard like weather outside. They say it is falling hard and fast, and you know what, I believe them. Pray for all those out on the roads because it looks really bad!
Tomorrow is Karilynn's birthday! Yea for Karilynn!!! We are going to go see Narnia! Can't Wait!! | | |
| Okay so here it goes, my first blog entry for all the world to see. Complements of Leslie Rachelle Jones for creating this and practically forcing me to join the internet addicted group known as xanga. Thanks Les, I think I am going to like this.
So I might as well start out with something that I have been thinking about lately. I take so many things for granted. Lately, it has been people that I take for granted. People that used to be around that you could call at the most random times. You didn't even have to talk. Just to know that there was someone on the other end of the line was nice. I don't really know what happened but those phone calls have grown far apart with few between. I guess it's just a sign that we are growing up. My mom keeps telling me that this makes more time to get to know the God that loves me and will always be there for me. You know what? She's right! Don't get me wrong. I have the best friends! But I am getting to know my Lord and Savior a lot more.
That's about as deep as it's going to get for now. I'm sure there will be many more entries to come. | | |
